Naming our puppies: we usually let the families choose the puppies' names from a list of traditional Icelandic names; sometimes puppies just "tell" me their name, but usually their families choose them. Then they can give them a "call" name that might be easier to pronounce if they choose.

The puppies are one week old today. Male #1 (below left) weighs in today at 20.5 oz. Lavandels Solee - which means "Little Buttercup" (below right) weighs in at 17.5 oz.

Below left is Male #3, who weighs 17.5 oz today, and Male #4 (below right) also weighs 17.5 oz.

Above left is the second female - now named "Lavandels Kyssa" (meaning "kisses") who is our petite girl, weighing in at 16 oz. We are keeping Kyssa, as it is time to make sure we have a daughter out of our wonderful Belle. And at right is "Lavandels Falki" (which means Falcon or indicates grey coloring) who now weighs 21.5 oz!
