We are very pleased to present to you our rare, beautiful and lovely leader ewes. The leader ewes traditionally have long, leggy, dairy conformation and are very easy lambers and great moms.Here at our farm we have the bloodlines of the most of the leadersheep from Iceland that have been available to us here in North America. We will be breeding for leadersheep that can be an asset to sheep flocks because of their natural, innate intelligence. We believe they can work with the shepherd to help protect the flock and believe that leadersheep traits need to be preserved. To reserve a leadersheep ewe or ram for your flock, please email us. In addition to intelligence, the leader ewes are extremely hardy and have most abundant milk. Leader genetics can benefit all flocks for multiple reasons! We like to blend the leadersheep genetics with the better conformation and fleece genetics of other bloodlines when possible to produce an all-around excellent animal.
