Week 2: The puppies are growing, although still just eating and sleeping! Some of them have amazing rates of gain per day, clearly much more serious about eating than some of their siblings. Below is a photo of Female 1. She has increased her weight from 9 oz. at birth to 16.5 oz. at 7 days.

Above is Female 2 shown at 7 days of age. She has gone from 12 oz. at birth to 16 oz. I am taking some of the heavier ones out several times a day now and making the lighter weights eat so that I don't worry so much about their weight gain. They are always happy to keep eating when I wake them up. At left is Female 3 or a.k.a. "Miss Piggy." She clearly takes her job of eating seriously.   She has increased her weight in 7 days from 11 oz. to 21 oz! She is also shown below.
