Another outcross for us, this gorgeous ram brings good horns, fleece, length and build to our ram line-up for 2007-2008. His sire, Mango, is shown at right. Mango scored a total of 84.5 at Southram, with an outstanding 9.5 for back and 18 for leg. Mangoson is one of the very few rams that managed to have a breeding group and also grow during the fall/winter breeding season. I was very impressed to see how he has grown as he goes into his first year. He is shown  bottom right as a ram lamb in September. At top he is shown at 1 1/2 years of age.

This ram and his brother were two of the fastest growing twins we've had on the farm. They both weighed an even 70 lbs. at just 9 weeks of age. We look forward to seeing the lambs out of this ram next spring. His sire, Eldar, scored an amazing 18.0 for leg and 9.0 for rump with an overall score of 84.5. Additionally, his daughters are said to be very good milkers.
